How do you make an Internet phone call?
You can make free Internet calls between two PCs, or from a
PC to a regular telephone by using one of the free PC to phone
services. When making free calls between two PCs, the PCs can
be anywhere in the world as long as they're on the Internet. Most
of the free PC to phone services only allow you to call to the
USA, so if you want to make a PC to phone call to another country,
try an inexpensive service such as Delta Three, Net2Phone, or
Access Power. Delta Three's service also allows you to make Internet
calls between two telephones, and Access Power offers a $10 flat
monthly rate for unlimited calls to the USA and Canada. Use the
following instructions to start making free PC to PC Internet
phone calls:

| Make sure your PC is equipped with a
microphone and speakers, or for better call quality and privacy,
use a headset. |

| Download an Internet Telephony program. One very popular
free program is Microsoft's NetMeeting. Another popular program,
known for its excellent call quality and ease of use, is VocalTec's
Internet Phone. VocalTec's Internet Phone is not free, however they
do have a trial version with a two week expiration period available

| Install and configure the software and learn how to
